HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 1250 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section Cr.P.C, the petitioner/Accused seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No.77 of 2011 of Women Police Station, Begumpet, which was registered for the offences under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 4 & 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 11.6.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad City and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok-Adalat and CC is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.77 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
