HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 15770 of 2015 ORAL ORDER:
Petitioners are residents of Ramachandra Colony, Karimnagar. They
contend that in the said colony presently road width is 30 feet and according to master plan of the town the road width should be 50 feet and on either side existing road has to be widened by 10 feet each. Petitioners allege that insofar as northern side of the road where their properties exist, they have already left 10 feet set back and made their constructions, whereas on the opposite side though 10 feet marking is made, road is not widened so far. Now in the colony municipal corporation is constructing drainage system on both sides of the road. The main grievance of the petitioners is on the opposite side though 10 feet road widening marking is made, municipal corporation without widening the road has taken up the drainage work, which would cause inconvenience and hardship to people who are using the road. Ventilating their grievance petitioners have submitted representations dated 18.5.2015 and 28.5.2015 to the second respondent-Commissioner and same are pending.
Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned standing counsel for respondent municipal corporation.
Having regard to the fact that representations submitted by the petitioners are pending consideration before the second respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 18.5.2015 and 28.5.2015 and pass appropriate orders on the grievance agitated by them and communicate the decision so taken to the petitioners within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
