This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal. Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioners/acctrled Nos.1 to 6 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.246 of 2016 on the file of the XXIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally at Miyapur, Cyberabad. The offence alleged against them is punishable under Section 3O+-B oflndian Penal Code.

There \Mas no representation on behalf of the petitioners on M.12.2O23 and the case was directed to be posted under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also,..there is no appearance for the petitioners. No interim orders were passed when the case was filed in the year 2O 18. The status of the case in the trial Court is not known. I do not deem it appropriate to keep the petition pending.
