THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 4626 of 2011 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioners in this case was that the Station House Officer, Mills Colony Police Station, Port Road, Warangal, the fourth respondent, was not taking action upon their complaint dated 29.01.2011, which was forwarded through the District Collector, Warangal, and the Superintendent of Police, Warangal.
2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, basing upon the written
instructions received from the fourth respondent, informed this Court that the District Collector, Warangal, had forwarded the petitioners' complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Urban, Warangal. The same was endorsed to the Sub Inspector of Police, Mills Colony Police Station, by the Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration), Urban, Warangal, on 02.03.2011 and acting upon the same, a case was registered against respondents 5, 6, 7 and 9 in Crime No.43 of 2011 under Sections 447 and 506 I.P.C. This registration took place on 02.03.2011 itself. The matter was stated to be under investigation at that point of time.
3. In the light of the aforestated facts, the grievance of the petitioners that their complaint was not acted upon stands redressed and no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.
4. The Writ Petition is accordingly closed. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
