This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 437 & 439 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant bail to the petitioner/A2 in connection with S.C.No.40 of 2016 on the file of I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

Keeping in view of the fact that 100kgs of Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985 comes into force. Therefore, I do not find any grounds to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
