THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.22184 of 2016 ORDER:

In this writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the action of the respondents in retaining and continuing rowdy sheet against the petitioner since 2005 as arbitrary and illegal. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his arguments to the extent of giving a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the representation to be filed by the petitioner for closing the rowdy sheet pending against him since 2005.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is at liberty to file a representation before the respondents 2 & 3 seeking closure of rowdy sheet pending from 2005. On filing such representation, the respondents 2 & 3 are directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
