HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.33074 of 2011 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents, in not declaring the results of the petitioner II Year MBBS examinations held in July, with respect to three subjects viz., Pharmacology, Microbiology and Pathology, as illegal and arbitrary. By way of interim relief, the petitioner sought a similar direction. This Court, by its order in WPMP No.41103 of 2011 dated 19.12.2011, granted interim direction as prayed for. Pursuant to the interim order, the petitioner's II Year MBBS examination results must have been declared. The subject Writ Petition was filed in the year 2011, more than six years ago. The petitioner must have completed his MBBS Course by now. It is evident that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
