This writ petition was filed by a Conductor in the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) aggrieved by the order of suspension dated 07.09.2012.

By interim order dated 29.04.2013, this Court directed the APSRTC to revoke the suspension order and take the petitioner on duty pending the departmental enquiry.

W.V.M.P.No.982 of 2013 was filed by the APSRTC to vacate the said order. However, learned Standing Counsel for the APSRTC informed the Court that subsequent to the passing of the interim order, the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner concluded and culminated in the punishment of deferment of two annual increments with cumulative effect for a period of three years. In that view of the matter, this writ petition, which was filed in the context of suspension pending the disciplinary proceedings, no longer survives for adjudication on merits and is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed.

No order as to costs.
