This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in M.C.No.30 of 2016 on the file of the Judge, Family Court-cum-VIII Additional District and Sessions Court, Mahaboobnagar.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana. 3.
At the time of hearing, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the trial Court to dispose of the M.C.No.30 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible. 4.
In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judge, Family Court - cum - VIII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Mahaboobnagar is hereby directed to dispose of M.C.No.30 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight (8) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
