THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION Nos.25665 of 2009; 29035 of 2009; 12439 of 2015 and 15495 of 2015 COMMON ORDER:
Since the prayer in all these Writ Petitions is similar, they are clubbed together vide order dated 08.07.2015, passed by this Court in W.P.No.15495 of 2015.
These Writ Petitions came up for hearing. On 03.10.2018, learned Government Pleader expressed that there was an urgency in these matters, therefore, the matter was listed on 10.10.2018 and again, it was listed on 29.11.2018, thereafter on 29.11.2018. Since there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners, the matters were directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal', on which date also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners and noticing that the respondent counsel is present, the matter was directed to be posted on 03.12.2018 under the caption 'for dismissal'.
Today, when the matters are taken up in the morning there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners hence, they were passed over. When the matters are called again at 3.30 p.m., there is no representation. In those circumstances, it is presumed that the petitioners do not wish to prosecute further. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Applications pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
