Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, for respondents.

The petitioner claims to have purchased the subject property under an unregistered sale deed dt.02.05.2014 from the 5th respondent for a sum of Rs.2,90,500/-. He contends that the land was subsequently acquired by respondent nos.1 to 4, and the respondents are likely to pay compensation to 5th respondent, so the 3rd respondent should be directed to deposit the compensation amount under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in the Civil Court. 3.

Since admittedly the petitioner has no registered sale deed in his favour, the petitioner has no title to the property which has been acquired by respondent nos.1 to 4. Only if there is dispute about title to the property, would there be a reference under Section 30, but not otherwise.

Therefore, I see no merit in the Writ Petition, and it is dismissed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
