HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.22427 OF 2001 ORDER:

As can be seen from the material on record, it is apparent that notice dated 25.7.2001 was issued to the petitioner informing him that his services will be terminated with effect from 31.7.2001. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed. On 30.10.2001, this Court while admitting the writ petition was pleased to grant interim orders of status quo. By virtue of the said interlocutory order, the petitioner continued his services and retired from service. In view of the same, the cause in this writ petition does not survive. Further, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on 22.6.2018 and hence, the office was directed to list this matter under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today also, when the matter was taken up in the forenoon, there was no representation and hence, the matter was passed over and again taken up in the afternoon session. But there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

In the above circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
