THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.NOS. 14841, 16060, 20606, 23842, 27542, 29155, 29157 AND 31216 OF COMMON ORDER Aggrieved by the memo No.31617/Regn.II/A1/2012-4 dated 31.8.2015 issued by the Special Chief Secretary to Government, whereby the request of the petitioners for renewal to practice as notary was rejected by the Chief Secretary to Government, the present batch of writ petitions have been filed. The learned counsel for the petitioners in all these writ petitions submitted that the subject matter in the present writ petition is squarely covered by a common order dated 2.12.2016 passed by a learned single Judge of this court in W.P.No.9655/2016 and batch. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue does not dispute the same.

This court in W.P.No.9655/2016 and batch dated 2.12.2016, set aside the impugned memo dated 31.8.2015. The relevant portion of the order is as under: "23. From the above, it is clear that unless there exists a valid reason for rejection, the renewal has to be granted as a matter of course.

24. It is needless to mention that in case if the application for renewal is sought to be rejected, a notice shall be issued to the aggrieved person, giving him an opportunity to explain the reasons thereof.

25. Having regard to the above, the impugned memo, which is made the basis for rejecting the renewal, is set aside and the writ petitioners are allowed with the above observations/directions." The present writ petitions are allowed in terms of the above directions of this court in W.P.No.9655/2016 and batch dated 2.12.2016. No costs.
