HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.18005 of 2011 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the inaction of the respondent in providing copy of the proposals for according sanction for construction and regularisation of violations as mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.475 MA dated 26.10.2002.

The respondent filed a counter stating that the information sought by the petitioner was furnished vide order in Appeal Case No.7952/SIC-KSR/2010, dated 21.9.2010, and even after disposal of the appeal by the Commissioner, under the Right to Information Act, vide letter No.18776/M1/2010, dated 25.10.2010, the respondent furnished the information once again to the petitioner and that the present writ petition is devoid of merits.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the averments in the counter-affidavit, this Court is of the view that the prayer sought in this writ petition does not survive.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _________________ Justice Raja Elango Dated: 2.2.2017.
