THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.34267 OF 2018

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the revenue authorities are inactive upon his representations dated 30.07.2018 and 18.08.2018 in relation to corrections of wrong entries in the revenue records in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.6.15 guntas in Survey Nos.969, 970 and 1070 of Wargal Village, Wargal Mandal, Siddipet District. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject land belonged to his father, late Tekulapally Ram Reddy. He alleges that upon the death of his father, his brothers, respondents 6 and 7 herein, colluded with the revenue authorities and got their names entered in the revenue records excluding him. In effect, the grievance of the petitioner is with regard to the entries made in the revenue records by the Tahsildar, Wargal Mandal, Siddipet District.

In the event the petitioner has any grievance with regard to such entries, the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 affords him an effective remedy in the form of appeal under Section 5(5) thereof. Instead of approaching the appellate authority, the petitioner chose to make representations to various authorities. However, that is not the procedure prescribed for seeking redressal of his grievance. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to invoke the appellate remedy available to him in accordance with the due procedure. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
