THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.24354 OF 2017 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not considering the representation of the petitioner for grant of police protection to enable the petitioner to enter into the agricultural land and to continue with the agricultural activity of the petitioner. If the petitioner is apprehending danger to his life and liberty, at the hands of any third parties, including the unofficial respondents 5 to 7, the 2nd respondent Superintendent of Police, Chittoor District will appropriately consider the threat perception to the petitioner and take adequate measures including providing protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner. Let appropriate orders be passed on the representation, which the petitioner submitted, within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order by the Superintendent of Police.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the writ petition, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
