Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 3 and the learned counsel for respondent No.4.

The case of the petitioner is that her husband worked as telephone mechanic in the 2nd respondent Office and died while in service on 06.09.2014. When she applied to respondent Nos.1 to 3 for terminal benefits, she was asked to obtain a legal heir certificate on the ground that her name was not mentioned in the service records. It is also stated that respondent No.4 was claiming pension and other benefits. In those circumstances, the petitioner wanted to take appropriate legal action against the respondents for which purpose she wanted information with regard to the persons against whom she has to proceed.

Today, the learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 produced before this Court, the record containing the names of respondent No.4 and children. Since petitioner wants to proceed against the respondents for obtaining legal heir certificate and she wanted information for proceeding against them legally, no prejudice is caused to the respondents, if information of the persons, whose names are being found in the service registers are furnished to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of, directing respondent No.3 to furnish the names of the persons whose names were found as family members of the deceased Praveen Kumar in the service register of respondent No.3 to the petitioner, within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
