HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 8625 of 2016 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard Sri Challa Srinivasa Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri C.S. Surya Prakash, learned Special Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 to 9. Ms. Kuppala Anitha is present in the Court. We interacted with her.
By this writ petition, in the nature of Habeas Corpus, petitioner seeks production of Ms. Kuppala Anitha alleging that she has been illegally detained by respondent Nos.10 to 12. He claims that Ms. K. Anitha is his wife.
When we interacted with Ms. Kuppala Anitha, she categorically stated that she would not like to join the petitioner/go with the petitioner. We find her very confident when she said so. She also told us that when she was living with the petitioner, he subjected her to harassment. We would not like to express any opinion in respect of this allegation. Ms. Kuppala Anitha is 24 years old matured girl. She is also a postgraduate. The allegation that she has been illegally detained by respondent Nos.10 to 12 is not acceptable.
Writ petition is dismissed.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
