THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE G. SHYAM PRASAD WRIT PETITION No. 26908 of 2016 ORDER: (Per VRS,J) Aggrieved by the refusal of the university to grant affiliation to various courses, the petitioners came up with the above writ petition challenging among other things the Affiliation Procedure and Regulations, 2015 of the university.

At the time when the writ petition came up for orders as to admission, we passed an interim order on 21.09.2016 with respect to the affiliation for M.Tech-CSE, M.Tech-VLSI and Systems Design. Pursuant to the said order, the university has passed orders. 3.

Insofar as the other courses are concerned, there was no interim order and the admission process for the current academic year is already over. Therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition. Hence it is closed, subject to the petitioners fulfilling the condition relating to the qualifications of the PHD holders.
