HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.6866 OF 2014 ORDER:

The petitioners seek a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents in considering their applications dated 02.12.2013 and 03.01.2014 as recommended by respondent No.2 in regularizing the small extents of land in old Survey No.51 of Nampally Mandal, situated at Aghapura Kaman, Dhoobi Galli, Hyderabad, in favour of the petitioners as occupants of unassigned Government lands in terms of G.O.Ms.No.166, Revenue (Assn. Pot) Department, dated 16.02.2008 as illegal, arbitrary and consequently, direct the 3rd respondent to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization in terms of G.O.Ms.No.166 and pass such other orders.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5. No counter is filed so far. In these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the applications of the petitioners dated 02.12.2013 and 03.01.2014 and pass an order on merits within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if such an order is not passed already. No costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
