Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and in spite of giving sufficient opportunity, no counter affidavit is filed by the Government. In view of the relief sought for in the present writ petition, this Court is not inclined to keep the writ petition pending and disposes of this writ petition after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and the Government Pleader.
It is the case of the petitioners that they are doing aquaculture in their tanks situated in Nelamuru Village, Penumantra Mandal, West Godavari District. They applied for registration of the tanks under G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16.03.2013. After following due procedure, the District level Committee, under the Chairmanship of the District Collector, issued Certificate of registration for Fresh Water Aquaculture Farm on 05.10.2015 and 08.03.2016. As per the said registration, they have been undertaking the aquaculture activity in respect of the following lands:

same has been referred to the 2nd respondent. When their applications were not considered, the present writ petition is filed. Since the applications of the petitioners are pending since 22.07.2016 with the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider their applications in accordance with law within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of the order. If the applications are not maintainable or appropriate sanction cannot be given, a reasoned order shall be passed by the 2nd respondent. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
