THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.7236 OF 2016 O R D E R :

Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner had made an application on 28.01.2016 for issuance of a certificate for conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural land under the provisions of the A.P. Agricultural Land (conversion for nonagricultural purposes) Act, 2006 and that no response was received there to, from the 3rd respondent.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that under Section 3(6) of the said Act there is a 60 day time limit for disposal of the said application and that the said period will expire on 28.03.2016.

3. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to communicate to the petitioner his decision, on the petitioner's application for conversion of agricultural land, on or before 29.03.2016. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
