The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities were interfering with her life and liberty.

Basing on the written instructions dated 15.06.2015 received from the Inspector of Police, Saifabad Police Station, Hyderabad, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home informed this Court that no complaint or case was registered against the petitioner on the file of the Saifabad Police Station. Further, her allegation as to harassment by the police authorities was also denied. In that view of the matter, this Court sees no purpose served in adjudicating this writ petition on merits.

The writ petition is accordingly closed taking on record the afore-stated stand of the police authorities. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
