THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.7097 of 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.44 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Madannapet Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the police investigated into the matter and filed the charge sheet.

In view of the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the purpose of filing the petition has become infructuous.

Hence the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
