THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.34567 of 2018 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up, written instructions dated 28.09.2018 furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Women PS, Visakhapatnam City are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home.

To the extent of their relevance to the present writ petition, the said instructions read as under:

"It is submitted that the 4th respondent herein has made the complaint dt.16.04.2018, before the 2nd respondent herein, against her husband, the petitioner herein, and his parents. The same was forwarded to the 3rd respondent for necessary action. Thereon, the 3rd respondent police have called the petitioner for counseling on different dates and finally on 21.09.2018, but the petitioner did not attend the same. Ultimately, the same was closed on 21.09.2018, since the complainant has not requested to register criminal case in the matter.

It is submitted that the contention of the petitioner that he has appeared for counseling on the given dates in the affidavit, are factually incorrect. The respondents 2 & 3 have never harassed the petitioner, as alleged in the writ petition. In fact, all these false allegations are concocted only for the sake of filing this writ petition. All other allegations of the petitioner against the respondent police authorities are incorrect, untenable and hereby specifically denied." On noticing the above instructions, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to place the said instructions on record and dispose of the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by placing on record the written instructions dated 28.09.2018 furnished by the

Sub-Inspector of Police, Women PS, Visakhapatnam City. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
