This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.836 of 2012 (which arises out of Crime No.45 of 2012) on the file of the Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Nirmal, Adilabad District, against the petitioners/A.2 to A.5.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the 1st respondent. 3.

According to the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant, there are specific allegations against each of the petitioners that they harassed the de facto complainant both physically and mentally for additional dowry. In view of the same, this Court finds that it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/A.2 to A.5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
