HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WIRT PETITION No.10963 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' applications for the benefits bestowed by the 2nd respondent-Telangana State Backward Classes Co-operative Finance Corporation Ltd., under G.O.Ms.No.286, dated 29.09.2015 for the self help scheme. The grievance of the petitioners is that under G.O.Ms.No.286, dated 29.09.2015 certain guidelines have been issued to encourage the Backward Class community people to be self employed, the petitioners approached the Banks and the respective banks had considered and given consent for the petitioners to establish their respective business enterprises, which costs around Rs.1,00,000/- each. As a matter of fact, interviews were conducted by the District Collector, Warangal on 19.12.2015 and though the petitioners also made a representation to the District Collector, no further steps have been taken. Hence, the writ petition.

Heard both the learned counsel.

Having considered the fact that the interviews were already conducted by the 3rd respondent-District Collector on 19.12.2015 and especially in view of the fact that the applications submitted by the petitioners are pending with the 2nd respondent, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the

applications of the petitioners and take appropriate steps subject to their satisfying the other criteria as laid down in G.O.Ms.No.286, dated 29.09.2015 and any other guidelines issued from time to time.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
