Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents 2 to 5 in not passing orders in accordance with Section 7 of the Andhra Pradesh Dotted Lands (Updation of Re-Settlement Register) Act, 2017 (hereinafter mentioned as the 'Act'), in the claims filed by the petitioners on 01.02.2018 before the 2nd respondent under Section 4(3) and Section 6(2) of the Act and the rules made thereunder, in respect of the lands belonging to them, admeasuring Ac.00-64 cents and Ac.07-45 cents in Survey Nos. 622 and 624 respectively, situated in Rajampet Village and Mandal, YSR District, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that though the petitioners have filed their Claims under Section 4(3) and Section 6(2) of the Act, claiming title to the subject lands, on 01.02.2018, till date, no action has been taken by the respondents. 4.
Learned Government Pleader would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the authorities will pass orders on the claims filed by the petitioners in the month of February, 2018.

Having regard to the undertaking given by the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the authorities to pass orders on the claims made by the petitioners on 01.02.2018, as early as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
