HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.224 of 2017 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed by the petitioner to punish the respondents for having committed willful and deliberate disobedience of the interim order dated 25.10.2013 passed by this Court in W.P.No.30660 of 2013.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

The counter affidavit of the 2nd respondent-General Manager, Singareni Collieries Company Limited speaks that the land in old survey No.18 is a poramboke land in Kannala village of Tandur circle. Out of which, an extent of 62.67 acres was handed over to the respondent company by the then Revenue Inspector, Asifabad Taluq and later said old survey No.18 was divided into so many numbers and after revision of survey numbers, the respondent company is in possession of survey Nos.113 to 186 for 62.67 acres since 29.06.1956 and the respondent company has not evicted the petitioner from the possession of the land in survey No.112 to an extent of Ac.1.20 guntas as alleged by the petitioner. It also states that the Singareni authorities have surrendered the lease land on 24.11.2016 in 44-DIP area consisting in Survey Nos.

113 to 186 total extent of Ac.47.36 guntas in Kannala Village, Bellampally Mandal along with other lands to the Revenue department as the said land is not useful for the Singareni authorities. Recording the submissions made in the counter affidavit, this Contempt Case is closed. No costs.
