HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.25911 OF 2010 ORDER:
The petitioners seek writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in proposing to deduct the crop insurance premium as well as weather insurance premium from the crop loan amounts released and to be released to the members of petitioners societies at the rate of 1% to 12% towards the crop insurance premium for the Kharif and Rabi seasons 2010-2011 without the consent of the members of petitioners is illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and apart from being violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent not to insist upon the members of petitioners to pay the insurance premium on the loans advanced and to be advanced to them and pass such other order. 2.
When the matter is called, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the subject matter in the writ petition has become infructuous since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is pertaining to the crop period for the years 2010-2011, which was over long back.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
