This writ petition is filed by the petitioners invoking the inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking mandamus to declare the action of the respondents 2 to 4 without enquiring into the genuinity of the complaint trying to arrest the petitioners in Cr.No.181 of 2013 of Anandapuram Police Station, Visakhapatnam district, registered for the offences punishable under section 324, 323, 506 read with section 34 of IPC and under section 3 [1] [III] [x] of SC/ST [POA} Act, 1989 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently to set aside the same and pass suitable orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home [AP] for the respondents.
3. After hearing both sides, it is needless to observe that the respondents would carry on their duties in accordance with law.
4. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
