Proprietor, M/S. Vijaya Laxmi Electricals, Nizamabad Dist v. Chief Managing Director, Apnpdcl., Warangal Dist And 4 Ot
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.1771 of 2014 ORDER:
When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, in spite of the fact that the writ petition is listed under the caption 'for dismissal'. This Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. Apart from that learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents had also informed the Court that the respondents are not following the practice of giving the work of maintenance of substations on contract basis and there is a change in the policy. Therefore, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted, as the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
2.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 11th February 2020 mar
