G. Naveenth Kumar v. The State Of Telangana,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.3120 OF 2016
O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioner, a student, is that the authorities were not ratifying his admission to Civil Engineering Diploma in St. Mary's Engineering College, Deshmukhi Village, Pochampally Mandal, Nalgonda District, the fifth respondent.
Admittedly, the petitioner was admitted to a diploma course in Mechanical Engineering in the fifth respondent college but it appears that upon his request, the college transferred him to Civil Engineering diploma course. However, as this transfer has not been ratified by the authorities, he is before this Court.
Sri A. Abhishek Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondents 3 and 4, would however point out that it is not for the student to seek such ratification and the college which effected such transfer must apply for the ratification. He would further state that an application in this regard would have to be addressed to the Convener, POLYCET-cum-The Commissioner of Technical Education, Government of Telangana, Nampally, Hyderabad.
In the light of the aforestated averments, the writ petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to take steps in the matter through the fifth respondent college. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
