THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2424 of 2016 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is filed by the petitioners-Accused Nos.1 and 2 seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.26 of 2015 on the file of CCS, DD, Team-II, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468 and 471 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioners is that they collected huge amount from the unemployed Muslim youth saying that they can provide visa to them for employment in abroad and gave them Photostat copies of employment visas, which were found to be fictitious and when the de facto complainant questioned them, they threatened him with dire consequences.

The learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioners were involved in three other cases.

In view of the submission of the learned Public Prosecutor and since the allegations levelled against the petitioners are so serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation at the threshold.

The Criminal Petition is dismissed accordingly. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J February 25, 2016.
