Annarapu Venkateshwar Rao, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.21126 OF 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to declare the inaction of the 1st respondent in disposing of the appeal filed by the petitioner and others, as illegal and arbitrary.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare for respondents.
Sri K.S.Murthy, learned counsel, offers Vakalat on behalf of R-5. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
The limited grievance of the petitioner is that he along with others filed Revision Petition No.15024 of 2017 dated 25.01.2017 before the 1st respondent assailing the order passed by the 2nd respondent in SRA No.4/2016, but no orders are passed by the 1st respondent either in the appeal or atleast in the stay petition filed along with the appeal.
Learned GP submits that a suitable direction may be given to the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner and others at the earliest.
Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent-The Principal Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department, Guntur District, to deal with Revision Petition No.15024 of 2017 filed by the petitioner and others and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, at the earliest,
preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
