HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.2069 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner states that she is the absolute owner and possessor of the land admeasuring Acs.1.92 cents in Survey No.33/1 of Merlapaka Village, Yerpedu Mandal of Chittoor District. She made an application, dated 14.12.2015, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') for grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds and paid the requisite fee. Alleging that no action is taken by the 2nd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed.

In view of the fact that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 14.12.2015, and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
