THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.13370 of 2012 ORDER:

The complaint of the petitioners was that the police authorities were threatening them and pressurising them to get separated. The alleged harassment of the petitioners was stated to be in the guise of investigation in Crime No.226 of 2012 registered on the file of Dundigal Police Station, Ranga Reddy District. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Dundigal Police Station, furnished written instructions dated 08.09.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home wherein he stated that upon the complaint made by the 7th respondent that his wife, the 1st petitioner, was found missing, Crime No.226 of 2012 was registered on the file of Dundigal Police Station as a case of 'Woman Missing'. While so on 31.05.

2012, the complainant, the 7th respondent, was stated to have come to the police station and submitted a petition informing the police that his missing wife had married the 2nd petitioner and that she was safe. He therefore wanted to withdraw the complaint which was the basis for the registration of Crime No.226 of 2012. After serving a notice on the complainant, a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. was filed before the learned VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal, Cyberabad, referring the case as 'Action Dropped'.

In the light of the aforestated developments, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
