ORDER

This petition u/s.482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/A4 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.72 of 2013 on the file of XIII Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, against her.

2. It is alleged in the charge sheet that A1 married the de facto complainant on 09.10.2010 as per Muslim rites and customs and after two weeks of their marriage, A1 to A4 used to harass the de facto complainant physically and mentally by demanding additional dowry of Rs.4 lakhs and A1 also married another girl on 06.09.2012 at SS Garden, Nalgonda. Based on the complaint, a case in Cr.No.311 of 2012 under Section 498-A IPC was registered against the accused.

3. Heard and perused the material on record.

4. After arguing some time, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his argument to the extent that the presence of the petitioner/A4 before the trial Court may be dispensed with.

5. In view of the serious allegations mentioned in the charge sheet, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, in view of the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the presence of the petitioner/A4 before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates whenever her presence is insisted by the trial Court and she shall be represented by her counsel on all hearing dates. The trial Court is directed to expedite the hearing of the case and dispose of the

same as expeditiously as possible on or before 25.05.2016.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
