THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.NOS.31382, 31390 AND 31404 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER The case of the petitioners is that they have been working under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Vide proceedings of the 4th respondent - Project Director dated 26.07.2017, they were terminated alleging certain irregularities. Challenging the same, they preferred appeals before the 2nd respondent - Member Secretary, S.R.D.S. Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department in SRDS Appeal Nos. 3451, 3454 and 3461 of 2017. Aggrieved by the action of the 2nd respondent in not passing interim orders in the appeals filed by the petitioners, the present writ petitions have been filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development for respondents 1 to 3 and Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent and Sri G.Sheshadri learned counsel for the 5th respondent. Since the appeals filed by the petitioners are stated to be pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petitioners are disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeals filed by the petitioners in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

No order as to costs.
