HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.10706 of 2011 ORDER:

Sri M.Vidyasagar, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, would fairly state that the Writ Petition was filed placing reliance on the Memo No.20175/Endt.I(2)/2010-1, dated 18.05.2010, which permitted extension of lease of shops by a further period of three years on payment of 33 1/3% of prevailing market rentals; and, as the three years period has also expired by 2014, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court, and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
