This petition is filed, by the petitioners, seeking for quash of the proceedings against them in C.C.No.228 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Udayagiri, Nellore District. The offences alleged are under Section 498A r/ w 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2.

The Public Prosecutor files a Memo stating that the impugned CC underwent trial and the petitioners herein are acquitted vide judgment, dated 18.11.2015, in C.C.No.228 of 2012.

Hence, considering the above, this court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 4.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
