The petitioner is not present.

Heard the Assistant Government Pleader for Home. The petitioner challenges communication No.775/2012-C2, dated 08.11.2012 as illegal and arbitrary. Through the endorsement, the competent authority declined to grant Arms license.

The Assistant Government Pleader for Home placed written instructions dated 15.09.2014 and relies on the counter affidavit and contends that firstly, there is no merit in the endorsement. Secondly, the petitioner can avail the remedy of appeal where all aspects can be considered by the appellate authority.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed by leaving it open to the petitioner to work out the remedy of appeal, if so, advised in accordance with law. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
