HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1809 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 to A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.865 of 2012 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kurnool, registered for the offences under Section 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 20.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Mahila Police Station, Kurnool District and submitted that after completion of investigation, final report was filed and the same was ended in acquittal on 10.10.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.865 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
