In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A1 & A2 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.225 of 2014 on the file of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B.Nagar, Cyberabad, which was registered against them for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 26.2.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, W.P.S Saroornagar, Rachakonda Commissionerate and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 7.2.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.225 of 2014, has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.
