HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR And HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER WRIT PETITION No.4010 OF 2017 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition was filed by the mother of the detenu, Goda Raj Kishore, assailing the detention order dated 25.07.2016 passed by the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad city. This detention was confirmed by the Government of Telangana vide G.O.Rt.

No.2132, General Administration (Spl. Law & Order) Department, dated 27.09.2016 and was to be continued for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the detention, i.e., 25.07.2016.

As the period of the detention has worked itself out by efflux of time, the challenge thereto by way of this writ petition is rendered purely academic and does not warrant consideration on merits. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed on this ground.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
