This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.1838 of 2012, against the petitioner, who is the accused, on the file of the XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. The offences alleged are under Section 506 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Panjagutta Police Station, Hyderabad City dated 13.11.2018 stating that the case ended in acquittal on 25.08.2014.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 30, 2018 DSK
