Bhosale) Heard Mr. K. Ratangapani Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (TG) for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the averments made in paragraphs 4 and 7 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents, he has instructions not to press this P.I.L. The statements made on affidavit by the respondents, in particular, paragraphs 4 and 7, are accepted. In view thereof, the Public Interest Litigation is disposed of as not pressed.

Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed.
