THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.11017 and 11106 of 2017 COMMON ORDER:

These Writ Petitions are filed seeking the following relief: "......to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of 3rd respondent in notifying the shop at Gazette Sl.No.KU/179 in the District Gazette No.3, dt.24.03.2017 for grant of license for the period from 01.04.2017 to 30.06.2019 as arbitrary, illegal and in violation of A.P. Excise (Grant of license for selling by shop and conditions of license) Rules 2012 and the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to delete Gazette Sl.No.KU/179 from the notification dt.24.03.2017 till the expiry of license period i.e., 30.06.2019 and pass such other order or orders as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the clarificatory order of the Supreme Court dated 31.03.2017 in The State of Tamilnadu v K. Balu and another1, no further orders are required in the present writ petitions.

Recording the said submission, these Writ Petitions are closed. No costs.

Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
