THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE T. RAJANI WRIT PETITION No.27615 of 2017 ORDER: (Per VRS,J) The case of the petitioner for admission to MBBS course under the quota reserved for physically challenged persons, was not considered, on the ground that the deformity suffered by her was of the upper limbs. As per the MCI regulations, the deformity of the lower limps alone is considered as eligibility criteria for conferring the benefit of reservation.

Since the MCI regulations are not under challenge, we cannot grant any relief to the petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
