ORAL ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging installation of Telecommunication Infrastructures Towers (TIT) as violating the provisions G O Ms.380 dated 1.8.2013. During the pendency of writ petition, G.O.Ms.No.96, Municipal Administration & Urban Development, dated 05.08.2015 was issued in supercession of G.O. Ms No. 380 dated 1.8.2013. G.O. Ms NO. 96 dated 5.8.2015 simplified conditions for installation of TIT. Learned counsel for petitioners submitted that in view of issuance of G.O. Ms NO. 96 dated 5.8.2015, the writ petition has become infructuous. Recording the submission of learned counsel for petitioners, writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, leaving it open to petitioners to avail appropriate remedies available to them under the law, if so advised, against the orders passed in G.O. Ms NO. 96 dated 5.8.2015 and decision taken in favour of party respondents 4 and 5. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
